Google Earth is now getting 3D

Now you can explore your world in 3D. Google earth for mobile is becoming 3D with the help of its new imaging technology. Google has deployed few mini airplanes in major cities for the purpose of taking three dimensional aerial photographs.

Google released the above video showing 3D virtual map of San Francisco. It even lets you to use the maps without an internet connection. The video also reveals the navigation through the virtual city. Soon you will be able to view your city in 3D as you are viewing it from the sky.
