How to Completely Remove OneDrive from Windows 11

Microsoft OneDrive is deeply integrated into Windows 11, but if you prefer Google Drive or simply want to keep all your files local, you can completely uninstall it to free up resources and remove the constant sync notifications.

How to Uninstall OneDrive

  1. Click the Start button and open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps > Installed apps.
  3. Scroll down or search for Microsoft OneDrive.
  4. Click the three dots next to it and select Uninstall. Follow the prompts.
