How to Make Google Chrome the Default Browser

If links keep opening in Edge or Safari, you need to set Chrome as your default browser.

Setting the Default

1. Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots, then select Settings.
2. Click Default browser on the left side.
3. Click the Make default button.
4. Your operating system will prompt you to confirm the change.
