Spilled something on your keyboard and can’t clean it well? Logitech has come up with a new waterproof, washable keyboard, the K310. The keyboard has drainage holes, which make it easy for cleaning and drying.
Durable and Washable Design
The characters on the keys are laser-printed and coated with UV to make sure they don’t fade away due to washing. The keys are designed to withstand any surface scratches or damage, ensuring they are highly durable.
It features rubber dome key technology, and the keyboard legs are tilted at 8°. To use the keyboard, no software needs to be installed. Simply plug it in, and you can start typing immediately. The K310 is available for USD.
Hot Keys and Features
It has 12 hot keys that let you easily access the internet, email, volume control, and more. Use F1 to go home, F2 for email, F3 to start a search, and F4 to use the calculator. Hit F5 to launch your media player, F6 for the previous track, and F8 to skip tracks.
Hitting F7 will play or pause your tracks. To control the volume, use F9 to mute, and F10 and F11 to decrease or increase the volume. When you are done working on your computer, simply hitting F12 puts your PC to sleep.
Care and Washing Instructions
While washing, follow the instructions given by Logitech in the Quick Start Guide. Wash the keyboard only by hand with mild soap, submerged in water less than 30 cm (11 inches) deep, and at a temperature less than 50°C (120°F).
Do not wash the keyboard in a dishwasher. Make sure you don’t submerge the USB cable in water. Do not use abrasives, alcohol, solvents, or any strong detergents. Logitech gives a three-year hardware warranty for this K310 keyboard.
