The Sony VAIO Duo 11 is the latest ultrabook from Sony Electronics. Just like the Dell XPS 12 Ultrabook and Microsoft Surface tablet, the Sony VAIO Duo 11 is a convertible ultrabook. It combines the features of a tablet and a laptop.
Its SurfSlider design lets you transform it from a laptop to a tablet in a few seconds with a simple sweep. It sports an 11.6-inch full HD screen with a 1920 x 1080p touchscreen LCD. In-plane switching technology provides a wide viewing angle.
Touch and Stylus Features
The touchscreen is tough and scratch-resistant. The ultrabook comes with a digitizer stylus to provide precision in writing and drawing. When the stylus gets close to the screen, the touch sensors automatically turn off for comfortable usage.
ArtRage Pro lets you create artwork by providing drawing and painting tools. Dolby Home Theater technology provides complete control to customise the sound for better impact.
Performance and Connectivity
With Rapid Wake Technology, the ultrabook can stay asleep for days with minimal battery drain. Near Field Communication (NFC) technology allows you to pair the ultrabook with any device with NFC support.
The ultrabook features 2.4MP full HD front- and rear-facing cameras.
It runs on Windows 8 Pro, powered by 3rd-generation Intel Core processors.
The Assist button helps you troubleshoot and perform maintenance. It supports all the apps designed for Windows operating systems.
