How to Freeze Panes in Excel

Freezing panes keeps your column headers visible even when you scroll deep into a spreadsheet.

Freezing Panes

1. Click the row directly below the headers you want to freeze (e.g., Row 2).
2. Go to the View tab.
3. Click Freeze Panes > Freeze Panes.
