How to Sign a PDF Document on a Mac

You can easily add your handwritten signature to PDFs using Preview on macOS.

Signing a PDF

1. Open the PDF in Preview.
2. Click the Markup toolbar icon (looks like a pen tip).
3. Click the Signature icon and select “Create Signature” to draw it on your trackpad or hold a signed paper up to your camera.
