How to Disable Telemetry Data Collection in Windows 11

Windows 11 constantly sends diagnostic data back to Microsoft. If you value your privacy, you can limit the amount of telemetry data collected by the operating system.

How to Disable Telemetry Data

1. Open Settings (Windows Key + I).
2. Click on Privacy & security in the left sidebar.
3. Select Diagnostics & feedback.
4. Under “Diagnostic data”, ensure the setting is switched to the lowest possible level (usually “Required diagnostic data” rather than “Optional”).
5. Scroll down and toggle off Tailored experiences.
