Chrome OS occasionally collects diagnostic data to help Google improve features, but this can raise privacy concerns. Turning this off gives you more control over your device.
How to Disable Data Collection
- Click the clock in the bottom right corner of the shelf.
- Click the Settings gear icon.
- Go to Security and Privacy in the left sidebar.
- Find the toggle for Help improve ChromeOS features and performance and turn it Off.
