When you operate an Android device provisioned with multiple Google Accounts (e.g., a personal Gmail and a strict corporate Workspace account), the Contacts application will mathematically default to saving every newly created profile to whichever account was authenticated first during device setup. To force the Android OS to permanently reroute all newly generated contact data into a different, specific cloud matrix, you must modify the Default Account vector.
Executing the Default Routing Override (Android)
The native Google Contacts application contains a deeply embedded setting that controls the primary data insertion pipeline for all new entries.
- Open the native Google Contacts application on your Android smartphone.
- Look at the absolute top-right corner of the interface (your current active profile avatar). (Note: Tapping this avatar only changes the current view; it does not permanently alter the default save routing).
- Instead, look at the absolute bottom-right corner and tap Fix & manage.
- From the resulting system matrix, select Settings.
