How to Pin a Folder to the Windows 11 Start Menu

If you frequently access a specific folder for work or personal projects, navigating through File Explorer every time is inefficient. Pinning the folder directly to the Start Menu gives you instant access.

How to Pin a Folder

  1. Open File Explorer and locate the folder you want to pin.
  2. Right-click on the folder.
  3. Select Pin to Start from the context menu (it has a pushpin icon).
  4. Press the Windows key to open your Start Menu. Your folder will now appear in the “Pinned” section at the top.
