When you are preparing sensitive legal or financial PDF documents for public transmission on a macOS workstation, simply drawing a black rectangle over classified text is a catastrophic security failure. Standard shapes do not destroy the underlying text vectors; anyone can highlight, copy, and extract the hidden data. To mathematically annihilate the text vectors and render the data permanently irretrievable, you must deploy the absolute Redaction protocol within the Preview application.
Executing the Permanent Redaction Matrix
The macOS Preview engine contains a highly classified Redaction tool designed specifically for secure data transmission.
