How to Change the Default Language in Google Chrome

If Google Chrome is displaying menus and settings in the wrong language, you can change the default display language directly within the browser settings.

How to Change the Language

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the three dots in the top right and select Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, click on Languages.
  4. Under “Preferred languages”, click Add languages and find your desired language.
  5. Click the three dots next to the new language and select Display Google Chrome in this language. Restart Chrome.
