How to Combine Multiple PDF Files into One on a Mac

You don’t need to pay for expensive software like Adobe Acrobat to merge PDF files on a Mac. The built-in Preview app can do it effortlessly.

How to Combine PDFs

  1. Open the first PDF file in the Preview app.
  2. Click on View in the top menu bar and select Thumbnails.
  3. Drag and drop your second PDF file directly from Finder into the Thumbnails sidebar of the first PDF.
  4. Go to File > Export as PDF to save the combined document.
