How to Turn Off Dynamic Lock Screen (Samsung Galaxy)
The exact location varies by manufacturer, but on most Samsung devices, it is found in the Wallpaper settings.
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Tap on Wallpaper and style (or just “Wallpaper”).
- Tap on Change wallpapers.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find the section labeled “Wallpaper services.”
- Tap on Dynamic Lock screen (or “Glance on Samsung”).
- You will be taken to a new page showing the active service. Change the selection to None.
- Tap Apply at the bottom of the screen.
For Xiaomi or POCO devices, go to Settings > Always-on display & Lock screen > Glance for Mi and turn the master toggle to the Off position.
Your lock screen will immediately revert to the static wallpaper image you selected, saving data and providing a much cleaner, ad-free experience.
