When you transition to a new Android smartphone, legacy network operators often store a fragmented matrix of critical phone integers directly on the physical SIM card chip. The modern Google Contacts architecture does not natively read this physical memory by default. To force the Android OS to execute a hardware-level extraction—pulling the raw alphanumeric data off the SIM card and fusing it into your encrypted cloud database—you must deploy the Import protocol.
Executing the Hardware Extraction (Android)
You must have the physical SIM card inserted into the device, and the OS must mathematically recognize the network hardware before you initiate this vector.
- Open the native Google Contacts application on your Android smartphone.
- Look at the absolute bottom navigation bar and tap the Organize (or “Fix & manage” on older OS builds) geometric tab.
- Within the data management matrix, locate and tap the Import from SIM vector.
- If your smartphone possesses a dual-SIM architecture, a modal window will spawn demanding that you select the exact physical slot (e.g., SIM 1 or SIM 2) you wish to extract from. Select the target SIM.
Fusing the Data Matrix
- The Android kernel will instantly interface with the SIM hardware, ripping the stored names and phone numbers. It will display a geometric list of all recovered nodes.
- Look at the absolute top of the screen. You must mathematically designate the destination matrix. Tap the drop-down menu and select your primary Google Account (to ensure cloud synchronization) or select Device (to keep the data strictly local and offline).
- By default, every extracted contact is selected (indicated by blue geometric checkmarks). If you only want specific profiles, manually uncheck the nodes you wish to abandon.
- Tap the Import button in the absolute top-right corner.
- The OS will violently copy the alphanumeric payload from the SIM card into your designated database. The original data remains intact on the SIM card until physically wiped.
