How to Add Multiple Clocks for Different Time Zones in Windows 11

If you work remotely with colleagues in London, have family living in Tokyo, or frequently travel for business, constantly calculating time zone differences in your head is frustrating and prone to error. Instead of constantly opening your browser to Google “what time is it in Japan,” you can configure Windows 11 to display multiple international clocks right inside your taskbar calendar.

How to Add Additional Clocks

Windows allows you to add up to two extra clocks, which will appear instantly whenever you click the time in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

  1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows Key + I on your keyboard.
  2. In the left-hand sidebar, click on Time & language.
  3. In the main window, click on Date & time.
  4. Scroll down to the “Related links” section at the very bottom and click on Additional clocks.
  5. A small, legacy control panel window will pop up. Check the box labelled Show this clock.
  6. Select your desired time zone from the dropdown menu (e.g., UTC+09:00 Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo).
  7. In the “Enter display name” text box, type a short label like Tokyo or London Office.
  8. (Optional) Repeat steps 5-7 for the second clock if you need another time zone.
  9. Click the blue OK button to save your changes.

Now, simply click on the current time and date in the far right corner of your taskbar. Right above your calendar, you will see your new custom clocks displaying the exact local time for your chosen regions.
