How to Permanently Disable the Siri Watch Face on Apple Watch

The Predictive Nuisance

The Siri Watch Face on the Apple Watch is fundamentally different from a standard clock face. Instead of simply showing the time and a few static widgets, it attempts to act as a predictive assistant. Throughout the day, it constantly updates its display with scrolling “cards” that it thinks you need to see—such as upcoming calendar appointments, live sports scores, breathing reminders, or suggestions to start a workout. While some users appreciate the proactive nature of this face, many find it incredibly distracting, visually cluttered, and completely inaccurate regarding what they actually want to see at any given moment. If you prefer a static, predictable watch face, you should disable this feature entirely.

How to Remove the Siri Watch Face

The most effective way to stop the Siri suggestions is to completely delete the watch face from your active rotation using your paired iPhone.

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Ensure you are on the My Watch tab at the bottom left of the screen.
  3. At the very top of the screen, you will see a horizontal carousel titled “My Faces.” This displays every watch face currently loaded on your device.
  4. Tap the Edit button located just to the right of the “My Faces” title.
  5. Locate the Siri watch face in the vertical list.
  6. Tap the Red minus (-) button on the left side of the Siri face.
  7. Tap the red Remove button that appears on the right side to confirm the deletion.

Ensuring Complete Removal

Deleting the face stops it from appearing when you swipe between your chosen clock designs. However, to guarantee that the background predictive algorithm stops using your battery to generate those unused cards, you should also disable the data source:

  1. Still in the Watch app, scroll down and tap on Siri.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap on Siri Data Sources.
  3. You will see a list of every app that feeds data to the Siri watch face. You can tap the master Turn Off All button to sever the connection permanently.
