The “Force RTL Layout Direction” setting is a developer tool on Android that forces the user interface to render right-to-left (RTL) regardless of the system language. This is used by developers to test their apps for RTL language compatibility (like Arabic or Hebrew). Prerequisites
You must have Developer Options enabled. If you are stuck in an RTL layout, remember that all menus are mirrored, so icons and toggles will be on the opposite side of the screen.
Disable Force RTL Layout Direction
Open Developer Options
Navigate to Settings > System > Developer options.
Locate the Drawing Section
Scroll down through the developer menu until you find the section titled Drawing.
Toggle Disable Force RTL
Find the option labeled Force RTL layout direction. Toggle the switch to the Off position.
Verify the Configuration
As soon as you disable the setting, the Android system will immediately revert to standard left-to-right (LTR) rendering. All menus, icons, and text alignments will return to their default positions without requiring a device reboot.
