How to Transfer Your Address Book to a New Google Account on Android

When you are migrating from a legacy Google Account to a pristine new Workspace profile, relying on raw VCF file exports and physical email transmissions to move your address book is a security risk and often strips metadata. To mathematically force the Android operating system to transfer the entire database architecture securely between two distinct cloud profiles, you must deploy the native Google Contacts Move protocol.

Executing the Inter-Account Transfer Matrix

The Android OS allows multiple Google Accounts to reside on the same device kernel simultaneously. The Google Contacts app can bridge these two accounts and execute a direct, peer-to-peer data transfer without ever exposing the raw VCF file to the file system.

  1. Navigate to the native Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Tap Passwords & accounts (or Accounts depending on your OS version).
  3. Tap Add account > Google. Mathematically authenticate and bind your new target Google Account to the device.

Deploying the Move Vector

  1. Open the native Google Contacts application.

  7. A modal will spawn listing all authenticated accounts on the device kernel. Select your pristine new target Google Account.
  8. The exact millisecond you tap the target, the OS intercepts the command. It violently rips the selected nodes out of the source account’s cloud architecture, bridges the gap, and injects them directly into the target account’s database. The new account instantly begins syncing the payload to the master Google Cloud servers, completely finalizing the transfer without data loss.
