When you receive a highly sensitive legal PDF contract on a macOS workstation and you must mathematically execute a binding authorization, printing the document, physically signing it, and rescanning it is mathematically inefficient and visually degrades the payload. To force the Core Graphics engine to capture your physical biomechanics and inject a permanent, vector-based digital signature directly into the PDF’s internal architecture, you must deploy the Signature matrix within the native Preview application.
Deploying the Biomechanical Capture Matrix
The Preview engine utilizes the physical trackpad (or the FaceTime camera) to capture your exact physical signature and convert it into a scalable mathematical vector.
- Locate your legal PDF file in Finder and double-click to open it natively in Preview.
- Look at the absolute top menu bar. Click the Show Markup Toolbar icon (it resembles a physical marker tip).
- In the newly spawned geometric toolbar, locate and click the Sign icon (represented by a small cursive signature).
- Click Create Signature.
Executing the Vector Injection
- A massive capture modal will spawn. Select the Trackpad tab.
- Click the “Click Here to Begin” prompt. Now, use your physical finger (or a capacitive stylus) to draw your exact signature directly onto the physical glass of your Mac’s trackpad. The OS will instantly translate your physical motion into a digital vector on the screen.
- When finished, press any physical key on the keyboard to terminate the capture sequence, then click Done.
- The Preview engine has now permanently stored your signature vector in its internal secure enclave.
- To inject the signature into the document, click the Sign icon in the toolbar again and select your newly created vector.
- The OS will instantly drop the vector onto the page. Click and drag the geometric node to position it on the signature line, and drag the corner nodes to scale it mathematically perfectly without pixelation.
- To permanently lock this authorization vector into the physical file, execute the absolute save command: Cmd + S.
